Our mission is to provide great looking high value neighborhood retail shopping experiences throughout New Jersey.
A Brief History
Mega development is a business owned by the Mund family. The Mund family has built over 140 Burger King restaurants in New Jersey, Buffalo New York, Erie Pennsylvania, New Albany Indiana, Louisville Kentucky, Seattle Washington, Hamilton Ontario, Vancouver British Columbia and the Netherlands. The Mund Family has also built and operated 20 Houlihan’s Restaurant in New Jersey and Long Island.
Our Strength
We have mastered the ability to identify successful sites, put them under contract, entitle the site, then build and operate the facility.
After 44 years in the Burger King system and 19 years in the Houlihan’s system, the family exited the restaurant business.
The tools our family acquired in identifying and building sites is a skill set that has transferred to the development and operation of neighborhood retail centers in Northern and Central Jersey.
We know what retail tenants seek in a successful retail center. We identify appropriate sites for acquisition and development.
